What airport do I fly into? And how far away is the hotel from the airport?

Fly into the Robert L. Bradshaw International Airport (SKB). The Marriott is a about a 10 minute drive from the airport. Taxis are readily available. Estimated taxi fare is $16 USD for a one-way trip.

Do I need a passport?

Yes, everyone traveling with you will need a passport.

Is the hotel child friendly?

Yes! There is a small kids' club onsite.

Does the hotel have a fitness center?

Yes, and it is complimentary. It is open 24 hours 7 days a week. They also offer free fitness classes. Check the schedule upon your arrival.

Does the hotel have a spa?

Yes, the Emerald Mist Spa is a full service luxury spa located on property.

Does the hotel have a casino?

Yes, there is a full service casino right on the property!

Can I play tennis at the hotel?

Yes, guests can lighted outdoor tennis on property. Click the hotel’s Fitness page for more information.   

Can I golf at the hotel?

Yes, located at the resort, Royal St. Kitts Golf Club showcases a links-style course with 18 beautifully designed holes, spread out over 125 lush acres. Golf enthusiasts of all levels of experience will be thrilled with the standard of play. 

Is the US dollar accepted here?

Although the official unit of currency on St. Kitts and Nevis is the Eastern Caribbean Dollar, the U.S. Dollar is widely accepted. Those who choose to pay in U.S. Dollars, however, should be aware that coins are not accepted on the island, and change will be given in Eastern Caribbean Dollars; a currency without use after leaving the Caribbean.

 I’ve never been to WMC before. What should I pack?

Some of the events at WMC call for resort casual wear. Daytime resort attire for men may consist of polo shirts and shorts, while evening resort attire would require nice slacks as well as polo or button down shirts.  Women may wear capris, skirts, dresses or sundresses. We recommend bringing a light wrap or sweater for the evenings as the temperature can dip slightly.

The tour I want to sign up for is sold out. What should I do?

I signed up for a tour, but now I don’t want to go anymore. Can I cancel it?

Tour cancellations received on or before January 4, 2019 will receive a full refund. After January 4, 2019, fees cannot be refunded, but you are welcome to send a replacement.  If we are able to resell your spot on the tour, a refund will be given. Please note that we may not know if this is possible until after WMC.

My family only wants to attend the Farewell Party. Can I just purchase passes for that?

No, individual passes are not sold for the Farewell Party or the Welcome Reception. Guests who would like to attend the Welcome Reception and/or the Farewell Party must purchase the Guest Program.

What is the cancellation policy for WMC?

Requests must be made in writing to TCIA either by fax to 603-314-5386 or by email to dmorgan@tcia.org. No telephone cancellations will be accepted. Cancellations received on or before January 21, 2019, will receive a full refund less a $35 administrative fee. Cancellations after January 21, 2019, are subject to a $150 fee per person.
