• What airport do I fly into? And how far away is the hotel from the airport?

    • Fly into the Gustavo Diaz Ordaz International Airport Puerto Vallarta (PVR). The Marriott is 1.5 miles from the airport. Taxis are readily available. Estimated taxi fare is 16 USD for a one way trip.
  • Do I need a passport?

    • Yes, everyone traveling with you will need a passport.
  • Is the hotel child friendly?

    • Yes! There is a kids club program onsite. There is a fee of $30 USD per day.
  • Does the hotel have a fitness center?

    • Yes and it is complimentary. It is open 7 days a week from 6:00AM to 11:00PM. They also offer fitness classes for an added fee. Check the schedule upon your arrival.
  • Does the hotel have a Spa?

  • Does the hotel have a casino?

    • No, the hotel does not have a casino on property.
  • Can I golf or play tennis at the hotel?

  • Is the US dollar accepted here?

    • Although the official unit of currency for Mexico, the U.S. Dollar is widely accepted in most larger businesses. Those who choose to pay in U.S. dollars, however, should be aware that coins are not accepted on the island, and change will be given in pesos at the rate the business has established (normally on a sign, if not, ask).
  • I’ve never been to WMC before. What should I pack?

    • Some of the events at WMC call for resort casual wear. Daytime resort attire for men can consist of polo shirts and shorts while evening resort attire would require nice slacks as well as polo or button down shirts. Women can wear skirts, dresses, or sundresses. We recommend bringing a light wrap or sweater for the evenings as the temperature can dip slightly.
  • The tour I want to sign up for is sold out. What should I do?

    • Email TCIA's meetings department at wmc@tcia.org to be put on the waiting list. Include the amount of spots you want. She will contact you if space opens up.

  • I signed up for a tour, but now I don’t want to go anymore. Can I cancel it?

    • Tour Cancellations received on or before January 3, 2020 will receive a full refund. After January 3, 2020, fees cannot be refunded, but you are welcome to send a replacement. If we are able to resell your spot on the tour, a refund will be given. Please note that we may not know if this is possible until after WMC.
  • My family only wants to attend the Farewell Party. Can I just purchase passes for that?

    • No, individual passes are not sold for the Farewell Party or the Welcome Reception. Check back for the registration prices.
  • What is the cancellation policy for WMC?

    • Cancellations must be made in writing to TCIA either by fax to 1-603-314-5386 or by email to dmorgan@tcia.org. No telephone cancellations will be accepted. Cancellations received on or before January 20, 2020, will receive a full refund less a $35 administrative fee. Cancellations after January 20, 2020, are subject to a $150 fee per person.
