• What airport do I fly into? And how far away is the hotel from the airport?

    • Fly into the Barbados Airport (Airport code BGI). The Hilton is approx. 20 minute drive from the airport. Taxis are readily available. Estimated taxi fare is $27.00 USD for a one way trip.
  • Do I need a passport?

    • Yes, everyone traveling with you will need a passport; including infants.
  • Is the hotel child friendly?

    • Yes! There is a kids club program onsite. WMC attendees have complimentary access.
  • Does the hotel have a fitness center?

    • Yes and it is complimentary and is open 24 hour. There is also complimentary classes such as Zumba, yoga, boot camp, boxing, water aerobics and few others. Check the schedule upon your arrival.
  • Does the hotel have a Spa?

  • Does the hotel have a casino?

    • No, the hotel does not have a casino on property.
  • Can I golf or play tennis at the hotel?

    • Golf is nearby and tennis is at the hotel. Use of the tennis courts is complimentary and guests can rent equipment.
  • Is the US dollar accepted here?

    • The U.S. Dollar is widely accepted in most businesses. The local currency is the Barbadian dollar. Those who choose to pay in U.S. dollars, however, should be aware that change will be given in local currency. The rate as of March 2020 is 1 US dollar to 2 Barbadian dollar.
  • I’ve never been to WMC before. What should I pack?

    • Some of the events at WMC call for resort casual wear. Daytime resort attire for men can consist of polo shirts and shorts while evening resort attire would require nice slacks as well as polo or button down shirts. Women can wear skirts, dresses, or sundresses. We recommend bringing a light wrap or sweater for the evenings as the temperature can dip slightly.
  • The tour I want to sign up for is sold out. What should I do?

    • Email Stephanie Burnell at sburnell@tcia.org to be put the waiting list. Include the amount of spots you want for adults and children. She will contact you if space opens up.

  • I signed up for a tour, but now I don’t want to go anymore. Can I cancel it?

    • Tour Cancellations received on or before January 8, 2021 will receive a full refund. After January 8, 2021 cannot be refunded, but you are welcome to send a replacement. If we are able to resell your spot on the tour, a refund will be given. Please note that we may not know if this is possible until after WMC.
  • My family only wants to attend the Farewell Party. Can I just purchase passes for that?

    • No, individual passes are not sold for the Farewell Party or the Welcome Reception. Click here for the registration prices.
  • What is the cancellation policy for WMC?

    • Cancellations must be made in writing to TCIA either by fax to 1-603-314-5386 or by email to dmorgan@tcia.org. No telephone cancellations will be accepted. Cancellations received on or before January 18, 2021, will receive a full refund less a $35 administrative fee. Cancellations after January 18, 2021, are subject to a $150 fee per person.
