The party of the year is happening at TCIA’s Winter Management Conference 2025! Join your industry peers for an exclusive sit-down dinner and live auction at the breathtaking Villa Botanica. Nestled 1,500 feet above the harbor of St. Thomas in the lush mountain top valley of Crown Mountain and Hawk Estate, Villa Botanic offers an enchanting tropical escape.

On Wednesday, February 5, Villa Botanica- one of St. Thomas’s most acclaimed venues, will host the ASTI Dinner & Auction, benefiting the Arborist Safety Training Institute (ASTI). This picturesque botanical garden, dating back to Danish colonial times, features historic remains such as 1780s cockpit sugar mill, original retaining walls, and a stunning 125-foot waterfall, alongside more recent additions like a pond and 60 fruit trees.

The evening kicks off with a cocktail hour overlooking the serene beauty of St. Thomas, followed by a multiple-course dinner served in a private pavilion with spectacular mountain views. The live auction will showcase exciting items contributed by your peers, all aimed at supporting safety within the tree care industry.

The Arborist Safety Training Institute, initiated by the Tree Care Industry Foundation (TCIAF) provides essential safety training and grants to reduce job-related injuries and promote overall workforce safety. Cancellations must be made at least one-week before this event, no later than January 29th, 2025. TCIAF will not accept cancellations for the ASTI Dinner and Auction after that date.

This year’s dinner will take place at Champers Restaurant, which sits amidst breathtaking views of the Caribbean on the evening of Wednesday, February 8. Champers Restaurant is one of the most awarded venues in Barbados. Its panoramic views, delicious drinks, and mouth-watering dishes are sure to make this year’s ASTI Dinner and Auction an unforgettable event.

This intimate event features a cocktail hour to begin the night, a multiple-course dinner on a deck overlooking the ocean, and a live auction featuring spectacular prizes contributed by your peers. Champers is the perfect setting for the live auction that you know and love, and all proceeds raised will go towards increasing safety within the tree care industry.

Please note that Champers features limited seating, so get your ticket below today! Make sure to dress your best – business or cocktail attire requested. Transportation to and from Hilton Barbados Resort will be provided.

And don’t forget, this event helps us raise funds (through ticket sales and lively bidding) to advance safety in our industry. The Arborist Training Safety Institute, launched by the Tree Care Industry Foundation (TCIAF) works to bring quality, local and affordable safety training to working arborists. ASTI provides grants for job and safety training to minimize consequent deaths and injuries and promote overall workforce safety.
