TCIA Foundation’s most popular event is back this year at TCIA’s Winter Management Conference – with a twist. This year, the Robert Felix Memorial Golf Tournament is transforming into the Robert Felix Memorial Fishing Tournament!
Anglers will be transported to Flamingo Marina (approx. 45 mins.) directly from our host hotel, and head offshore to experience some of the best fishing on the North Pacific Coast. Costa Rica is known for its offshore Bill Fishing and Game fishing. We have reserved nine (9) center console boats, that each can accommodate up to five (5) anglers, and the morning will culminate with an Awards Ceremony reception, at the Oceana Restaurant right in the Marina, to celebrate the best catches.
This event is a continuation of the popular TCIAF Robert Felix Memorial Golf Tournament. By participating as an angler or sponsor, you’re directly supporting the TCIA Foundation’s mission to benefit the future of the tree care industry.
Join us for a morning of fishing, networking, enjoying beverages, and making new friends—all while supporting a great cause.

Session: Dominating Disruption and Pushing Limits
In this provocative and energizing keynote, Henna Pryor, Workplace Performance Expert and 2x TEDx speaker, flips the script on what modern excellence really looks like. Through a mix of powerful storytelling, behavioral science, and mindset-shifting tools, she shows audiences how to train the mental and social muscles that fuel success in today’s disruptive world. We explore factors like mindset monkey wrenches, strategic discomfort, and the #1 tool everyone needs in a turbulent world: neutral thinking.
With strategies that stick and stories you’ll still be thinking about weeks later, this keynote will help your team build the habits that matter most when everything’s in flux.
After this keynote, you’ll be able to:
- Recognize why excellence has become a hidden trap – and how to break free
- Train your brain to stay clear-headed in chaos using tools like Neutral Thinking
- Tap into small, repeatable “micro-risks” that grow innovation and courage
- Build a mindset of resilience, creativity, and personal agency – on demand
In times of disruption, the winners aren’t the ones who hold on tighter. They’re the ones who learn to let go faster, and leap forward with a new kind of excellence.

Session: Selling Smarter in a Shifting Market: Leading Growth with Clarity, Confidence, and Consistency
In today’s competitive and cost-sensitive market, tree care leaders need more than tactics—they need clarity, confidence, and a strategy that drives consistent results. This workshop with leadership and sales expert Clara Capano will show executives and growth-minded managers how to strengthen their sales messaging, build systems that work without micromanagement, and position their companies to win high-value contracts—even amid rising costs and shifting customer expectations. Participants will leave with a repeatable sales framework, tools to communicate value (not discounts), and the mindset to lead their teams with resilience and purpose.
