Beware Third Party Solicitations
The Tree Care Industry Association (TCIA) would like to warn TCI WMC partners and attendees that unknown companies have extended email offers for the following:
Attendee Lists:
Should you receive an email with the suffixes @expolists.com, @expodatallc.com, or any other unfamiliar source, please note that these entities are in no way affiliated with TCIA, and the lists offered are inaccurate and compiled or acquired fraudulently and in violation of data protection regulations.
Hotels:
TCIA does not authorize third parties to contact you on behalf of TCIA or TCI WMC regarding hotel reservations. All reservations for TCI WMC room blocks are to be made directly with the hotel listed on wmc.tcia.org.
The use of our association name (Tree Care Industry Association, or “TCIA”) and event name (TCI WMC) by these companies has been made without our authorization. We, therefore, urge partners, and attendees to be cautious and to contact us when receiving these types of solicitations from unfamiliar sources.
